    Pay day loan and Wonga.

Should these parasites be closed down? 3,600% APR and falsifying legal documents.
The 50 compensation they are offering customers in compensation if extorsionate APR's were applied since illegalities would amount to more than Britains GDP.

    Yes!

YES YES YES They are a total shower of **** that prey on the unfortunate in our society. If there is one positive thing this crap government can do is protect the most vulnerable from this type of legal abuse.

The other thing is, if you apply for one of these loans, it is recorded on your credit history and in future you'll be blocked from ever getting normal credit ever again!

    So the cycle repeats, downwards!

The government should mandate a reasonable top interest rate, anything more would be illegal.
That would take care of these companies.
As for 50 compensation..in America there would be a 'class action' and that would do for Wonga. I don't know why that isn't happening here.

ps.. I don't know why there's been no criminal charges brought for impersonating a solicitor and fraud, they charged 9 per letter apparently.

Yes they should be shut down and barred from doing business again , however as Camoron's cronies / mates are involved on boards of this and similar usurers it's unlikely it will happen soon.

I'm not sure there's much difference between these companies and the Mafia. Both loan money at extortionate rates, both don't give a sh*t about the punters and both use illegal methods of enforcement on defaulters.

Whichever you use, you'll be on your knees, the only difference being you've got a chance your knees will be intact with one of them.

the reason theve not been prosecuted is simple ,it all supposedly happened four years ago , and now guess what its got a new director because the other ***** has scarpered before the **** it the fan, under the new government guidelines they cant go back over (old) cases, hence the 50 quid,
