Thread: Always check your rifle after having a dump!!

Always check your rifle after having a dump!!

Went out this morning for an hour before work and got caught short, again! (Aint sphagnum moss lovely!!) While treating myself I unloaded the rifle and laid it across my sticks on the deck and just shows why you should always check before re-loading!!

This little fella had hopped in to get out of the rain and when I tried to get him off, decided to crawl right in the chamber throat!! Could have been very interesting had he done that straight away and I hadn't noticed!! I reckon he was small enough to squeeze into the barrel!!

Paul, well done on the gecko pun! Stratts, that's a good story, although I think I would have left out the circumstances that led to it.

You could have tried something along the lines of "Frog in my (chamber) throat" perhaps?

Good job you didn't close the bolt on him - he'd probably have croaked......
Nothing is worse than having an itch you can never scratch
