This looks like a really nice scope. Did you buy this new yourself or was it mounted by a ??previous owner? If so how long have you had it? Am considering a 10X for the open hill.

    Sorry 762 I've been away.

It was liquidation stock as I recall, have no knowledge of being previously mounted. Thought I'd use it but haven't, 2012 I think.
I have quite a few top end scopes, some 2nd hand, this is not used. Picture quality is superb through the glass.
10x would be perfect for the open hill, certainly not so good for closer country as the mag limits field of view to be honest with you.
Have bought a Leica, sold my used Z6 to a mate of mine, leaving the S&B as put NV on my .223
Also have a Leupold V3 8.5-25x50, and whilst an excellent scope, clarity is not as good but twice the price (ok so it has better zoom!).

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info. Continuing to look around at options right now. A nice scope to consider though!

Happy hunting on both counts, the scope may appear on EBay soon so look out for it there too.

    RickoShay,
Thanks for the post. I assume you will have a reserve price on e bay. I have never bought off e bay... too old school I guess. I will keep an eye out for it though. Am looking at a couple of scopes at the weekend up here, I will keep you posted though. Just deciding between 8x or 10x.... decisions decisions.
