    223 what your load

    Hello all
i got a tikka 223 1"8 a couple of months ago and settled on a load of the following

55g Serra sp 26.4 Lovex Cci primers

3"groups out to 300yrds & regularly took crows out to 340/360
but picked up some different primers and got it cronod at 3450

gun smith told me to lower it down a bit
so I did being a bit paranoid (no signs of pressure but did any way)

now it seems all over the place well 2"3 groups at 200yrds
so now I've been trying to go back to my original load but can not seem to get there,
(must be the primers) got to go back to Cci

im in just wondering what you gentlemen use ?
    and what's your groups like?

would be interesting to hear how everybody's
cuppa tea is ? So to speak?
    cheers cm

out of curiosity, what sort of velocity are you gents seeing? I only ask as I recently got a chrono so I could properly see what's what with my loads and the results were a little surprising to say the least.

23grains vit 135 behind a sierra 63grain semi point is very accurate in my Howa varmit, one ragged hole at 100M
But start lower and work up.

If its 1:8 you will be very lucky to get it to shoot anything less than 60grn, mine will only shoot 60 grn v max and above. 1:8 really needs 69grns and above so I am v suprised the accuracy you are getting.

I work in Taunton so be no problem to call by with all the info you will ever need.
