    Stalkers near Moretonhampstead, Devon

    Hi,

I live in Okehampton and have just picked up some land near Moretonhampstead.

I would like to meet up with any stalkers who have a cull plan in place located near Moretonhampstead.

    Regards

    Hi Colin,

I shoot to the south of Moreton'd just of the A382.
The only thing i can suggest is don't shoot the white fallow around there.
They always give away the position of the melanistic fallow!

Best of luck with your new ground.

    Cheers

    Richard

We own a bit of land to the south of Moreton, Mum was born there there in fact and her side of the family goes way back there.

Our bit of ground is only about 40 acres but never seen a deer on it sadly!

    Hi chaps,

    Many thanks for the replies.

The area have is around 40 acres which is about qtr mile from town centre.

Sat on the hill I look down towards the Manor (the one that cost 4.5M)

I believe this is the southside of morton. Which is also just off the A382.

Yeh i'll leave the white...it's my policy to leave those well alone anyhow.

Richard, do want to meet sometime just to see how close on land we are, I have a major rabbit problem and could do with a hand lamping soon...

    Regards
    Colin.

    Any still there Basil?

Mum's family go back some time there and we still have a lot of local ties, lots of them in the grave yard at the church in fact.

The house and vet surgery used to be in Pound Street, My great Grandfather and Great Uncle set it up pre first world war.

House is still there though we sold it about 10 years ago but retained the land to the south of town.

    Off topic...sorry!
