    better advice than feed them in sight of a high seat?

    When I lived in Germany, I used to shoot them on a golf course... They would be paranoid about them digging the greens up.

    Not quite correct - only one person maybe didn't realise. By the time the rest of us posted it was current! But who cares? Gave us something to chuckle about!

    Did any survive, is there a new population getting established. Or where they all rounded up/ shot/ trapped ???

    Without a doubt, the best food for a Wild Boar is a lead tablet, neatly placed.
