    First ever roe buck

    Hi all

I would like to share my first ever roe buck with all of you. Because I know everyone on here will appreciate it. Unlike some people I work with. Lol. Went to Somerset the weekend for some bucks. Had stalks the Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening and Sunday morning. Being from Essex, had to make the most of travelling so far. Well that's the excuse I gave the missus.

And here is the first one ever. He weighed in at 455g a day after being boiled. Full skull. Think it's just gonna be short of a bronze. Never the less, it's a lovely buck and I am very proud of it, and looks nice on the wall. Was shooting a .243.

Also shot a fox that evening, another first for me, abut nothing Saturday. Saw loads of does and fawns though. Sunday morning I shot a young cull buck to round of an incredible weekend.

Yes mate. Eight pointer. I agree. I'm over the moon with it. Antlers are really tall as well. Good looking beast. Still can't wipe the smile off my face.
