    Heym SR20 7x57

For sale due to ill health:

    Pictures to follow.

My Heym SR20 in 7x57 complete with DM80 7x57 moderator, sling and two sets of Warne QD rings, 30mm & 25mm ones.

I bought this as a back up stalking rifle and all it has done since I have had it is to zero it in. It has had the front sight removed so it could be threaded. There is slight marking to the barrel where the over barrel moderator fits.

    475.00 ONO plus RFD charges

This looks interesting. I'm assuming it's the .275 Rigby, not the 7x57 rimmed. Is it still for sale?

It's not a 7x57R, it's a 7x57. And it is still for sale at the moment.

    Barrel is 21 3/4", screwed 1/2" UNF and has a 1 in 9 twist.

I can’t see why this hasn’t sold in a flash. It’s a beautiful rifle in a great calibre. If I didn’t already have a Heym in 7x57 then this is the one I’d buy. Best of luck, have a free bump on me.

I assumed it was the 7x57 not the rimmed version, just thought it better to check. I'd be interested, but would need to get a variation.

    Thanks Paul,

When I first had the rifle somone had made a complete arse of taking off the front sight, so I had it tidied up and made to look nice. I also had the thread re-cut and it was re-crowned too. It shot quite well when I bought it, but much better when I had the work done on it. It is a nice rifle and very well made compared to the rest of the rifles you see advertised at around this price.
