One for the Vets or frozen tail experienced.

I have a 2 year old GWP who is undocked so his tail goes ten to the dozen most of the time. He had frozen tail when he was young and he now seems to get it every so often, he has had it 4/5 times in 2 years. This is not due to swimming in water as he is not that keen.

Does anyone know why this is or what can be done or if there could be an underlying issue?
It's not broken or dislocated as we have been to the vets twice and it's just in muscles.

    Many thanks

It's generally a self limiting but painful condition. I usually prescribe a course of anti inflammatory drugs and seldom find that they recur. What you describe may be a repetitive strain type of injury that he may always be more susceptible to. If it keeps happening or gets worse then your vet may advise investigations to determine if there are any underlying problems leading to these episodes
