    Funny looking liver in Muntjac

    I shot a Muntjac last week and one part of the liver was quite dark compared to the other the rest of the beast looked fine any ideas?

    That's its spleen

    Section 161 of the Highways Act 1980 (England & Wales) makes it an offence to discharge a firearm within 50 ft of the centre of a highway with vehicular rights without lawful authority or excuse, if as a result a user of the highway is injured, interrupted or endangered.

    It looks larger than I'd expect in comparison to the other organs, is this normal for muntjac. I've only shot one and rather minced the spleen.
