    Barrett

I see riflecraft have import rights for Barrett in UK, was looking at their MRAD 308 - was quoted around 5150, seems a little steep for a 308 when a 50 cal costs around 4500? Anyone own a Barret?

If you are looking at spending this kind of money (your previous post regarding Rem 700 and AI chassis suggests a budget of quite a bit less)

However, an AI AE, AI AW, AI AX, AI AT would all be superior rifles over the Barrett (IMHO)

Or a custom build, which will be similar outlay depending on spec and whom you choose to build...

Just buy an AI AXMC .308 from sporting services for 4700 ish.

What's it for mate? Why is it you want the 'tactical' style? Looks?

The reason I ask is because it is a large outlay and, depending on what you want to use it for, there may be better choices.

The Nemesis looks nice but is an EDM windrunner/m98 copy. 20" barrel in all calibers? Seems a tad short sighted.
I like a short barrel but for target stuff at long range, why limit yourself.

Personally, AI is the way to go for a factory rifle. Or a custom from any other reputable gunsmiths.
