    Break barrel .22lr

Right, I love single shot rifles and shotguns. Especially break barrel stuff.
All I can find in .22lr is that Chiappa Little Badger thing.
    Any other options?

    Hi there

    Take a look at these:

    http://www.hr1871.com/firearms/rifles/sportster.asp

God knows if they are available in the UK but they seem to tickle your fetish (technical expression that)

    Hope that helps

Keep an eye on the gun auctions. Usually be or two took rifles lined to .22rf are listed

Ok it's not a 22rf, it's a 22 hornet so sort of counts and just to get the saliva flowing!

The obvious answer in the case of a new rifle would be a Thompson Contender. https://www.tcarms.com/firearms/inte...s/g2-contender

They aren't cheap in this country though.
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

Well when my variation finally arrives I'm think about getting a mate in the US to buy me a encore in whichever big caliber I'm allowed (hopefully 458 win) and since I have t pay $350 anyway I may add a barrel or two. Still works out cheaper than buying seperate guns.
Obviously I'll compromise certain things but it seems like a great platform.

I don't think there's factory barrels in .458 but SSK will be more than glad to make one for you - I don't know about export though. More popular as a handgun than a rifle here but SSK can make rifle barrels (they just don't tend to have as many pictures of them). Encore | SSK Industries
