    Roof mounted spotlight choice?

I mounted the popular hella chrome 55w lights to my last two vehicles. But quite keen to avoid drilling a bloody big hole in the roof of my latest. Are the remote ones crap? Now using Dereelight rifle mounted lights to actually shoot with and so as soon as eyes are picked up with the roof light, it's switched off every time. Anyone with experience with both?

Same issue as yourself as I don,t want to drill the light force onto latest vehicle and the remote ones I have seen are ok but no a patch on the light force-I think it will have to be the suction mounted light bar with the light force as recommended by Bugsy on here though they ain't cheap

    I use this:

Can use on the windscreen, or if you have a sunroof, wind it back a bit and stick it on that - stay toasty on those bitter January nights out after foxy! (Cluson lamp spot on with an amber filter on too)

try the light force with the twin sucker mounts with the T bar and a 170, about the best there is when it comes to vehile mounted lights.

we have 5 on the estate and both myself and a mate use them all the time.

i have in the last week got a handheld torch from Ian in scotland that beats anything i have seen for clarity, i just need to find out how to make it a vehicle mounted lamp.

about as much use as a break light on a submarine ?

you cant control the speed correctly and it over runs the target, IMO: nothing out there beats the human eye and hand co-ordination to get on a target fast and in time to take a shot.
