Steel loading bench and RCBS chargemaster

I'm thinking of building a new bench for the garage, which will double as a reloading table.
I was going to make it with a steel frame and a plywood top covered in stainless steel.
I could just leave it with a plywood finish, as I have some concerns about steel being in close proximity and interfering with my RCBS chargemaster.
Does anyone have any experience of using a chargemaster or electronic scale in close proximity to, or on steel.

The stainless steel should not cause a problem as lots of good quality stuff is not magnetic if it causes a problem cut a sheet of plywood to go under your scales.
