    Need accomodation in Edinburgh

I am needing a hotel in walking distance (15 mins or so) of the centre for myself and my three Swedish stalking buddies, at the end of October.
Can anyone recommend somewhere reasonably comfortable and moderately priced (if that's not asking too much for a city!)
    Thanks,

Haymarket's a good suggestion for travel into town from the Airport or arrival by train. When you are heading off stalking are you going north towards Perthshire or south to the Borders? Parking here is a pain. I went in to Haymarket to park one evening recently and spent 20 mins driving away from Haymarket in circles.

We stayed at Ten Hill Place which we found really comfortable and could walk into city centre 10-15 mins. Booked thru booking.com. Prices not excessive. Good luck.

Both situated in central edinburgh and easy walking distance to all locations within the city center. Also not badly priced.

The Guest Room only had one room available, which was a shame as it looked very nice.
The others, to be honest, were a bit pricey, but I will keep looking!

Sounds very good. Anywhere from the West End going towards the Forth Bridge or the Airport sounds the area you need to Google in. Sorry I can't recommend a specific place. B&Bs in Craigleith maybe worth a Google.

Let us know where you end up and we can maybe catch up for a pint?
