The Vit reloading manual does not list V150 for 180gr,but it does for 185gr Lapua Scenar bullet start load 44.4 max load 50.3.Then for Lapua Forex bullet start load 42.2 max 48.1,if that's any help.Dave

The online Vihtavuori guide does list data for N150 with a 180grn bullet. http://www.vihtavuori.com/en/reloadi...ringfield.html
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

The 2nd edition Lee manual has data for a 185gr jacketed bullet which should be slightly conservative: 44.4gr start (2283fps) - 50.3gr max. (2552fps)

This will most likely be the info provided by Vihtavuori - hence same as the Viht info you were referred to.

Good morning sir. in answer to your question we use the following as our datum load for 30.06

case lapua trim to 2.484 inches
bullet sierra game king btsp part no 2160
    primer cci br2 / cci 200 or fed 210
powder vit n150 charge weight 49.5 - 50.5 grains NOTE THIS IS THE MAXIMUM CHARGE WEIGHT AND IS DEPENDANT ON THE INDIVIDUAL BARREL!! ( reduce by 7 % and work up )

OAL we found the best results with the bullet seated between 0.020 and 0.030 off the rifling. ( 3.270 approx. for most saami chambers)

velocity from a 22 inch barrel 2575 fps to 2590 fps dependant on barrel

from a good barrel we have found the above loading gives outstanding accuracy and superb extreme spreads and standard deviations . Sub half inch being the norm . I hope that is of assistance yours respectfully Mike Norris Brock and Norris Rifles
