    Extending a Sako 85 LOP

Has anyone experience of extending the LOP on a synthetic Sako 85? Also any tips on raising the cheek piece more permanent than the neoprene and foam I use now?

simple job really, either a blank spacer between stock and recoil pad, and/or larger recoil pad.

Cheek piece raiser - this will probably look 'ok' Adjustable Cheek Pieces | Karsten

Not sure what you're budget is for this PB but a nice solution would be......

Budget is as cheap as I can get away with Mike, don't really want to start along the custom route because I know it will never stop!

Tried looking for thicker recoil pads but it seems that whereas shotguns are very well catered for there isn't much choice for rifles.
Might just have to look for a bit of plastic for a spacer.
