PKL on here; I've seen some of his work & mine will be going to him whenever my rifle has a month of downtime.

Mike Dickinson of Carlton Moor Range is first rate and is a south paw himself , He also has a Don Alan stock duplicator which speeds up things enormously. Yours respectfully Mike Norris , Brock and Norris Custom Rifles

Depends if you just want something no frills and functional or something built by a specialist which is also a work of art. There is a lot of expertise that goes into making a rifle stock well. If you just want a replacement that looks ok then the options are limitless with the Remmy 700 and I would just order one online. If you want a work of art then these guys are at the top of their game,

Personally I think it would be like putting Ferrari bodywork on a landrover but each to their own!

    Tackleberry.
    Yes to each their own
I fully appreciate the work that goes into crafting a rifle stock.
Back in 1980 - Mike Tierney of Custom Rifles had his workshop in my premises.
I bought most of the tools when he passed away and should have bought kept the stock blanks.

I only speak from my own experience, though this was many years ago.

I was quoted 3 months, and over 2 years later I still didn't have a stock... lots of promises and excuses, and silences, but no stock.

    Conclusion. Wash hands. Move on.

I'm glad to hear this is no longer the case.
