    Thumbs up Love Struck Buck's

I have used my buttlo caller several times, but never a direct reaction after using it, however this evening I was backed into a hedge so I could cover a good part of a wheat field.
Plenty of tracks coming from a wood in the rough direction I was standing, I previously shot a big dog fox on this field last week but never used my caller.

After setting up I waited 20 mins as the light was on the turn and gave 3 sets of 3 calls, I had just put it back in my pocket and the first buck burst out of the cover and was heading right to me.
My rifle was on my quad sticks giving me that extra second or two as this buck was not stopping, however one bark from me and off went the round.

The deal with the farmer is half so I waited a couple of mins and repeated the calling, and as if it had been waiting for the chance to run out in the field the second and largest buck did just the same thing, this time I had wound the mag down a bit as they move quite fast....

    22/30 lbs after the gralloch...
