    big fan of his
have had some dialogue via email with him about terminal effects on deer

your post seems to imply he is going to close any discussion about them
I get the impression of the opposite from reading his site, blog, book etc

he's got a different view on the way many shoot 'sniper' style (one handed). See his article @hold the fore end' - I think I agree.
There's an amazing amount of info on various loads and projectiles for different calibres.
    I rate him.
    Cheers

What Nathan says makes sense. I think the caveat is that he is often seeking bullet performance way out there in the distance rather than at what we may call sensible sporting ranges. Therefore he is after a more frangible design than we may find ideal at sub 300 yards that would get castigated by many for causing excessive meat damage. Each to their own but the guy has put a massive amount of data that we can all access out there in the public domain and should be commended for his efforts

I was having a lot of trouble getting consistent accuracy off a bipod with a .308 until I read this. Total transormation afterward.

In retrospect, of course, it should not have been such a revelation - of course a light sporter is going to require more control than a purpose built, heavy, specialist long range gun!

....and I halved my group size by throwing the bipod away.....
