    Skull Mounting

    Hi everyone,

Been shooting for a few years now, and only just shot a head I feel is worth mounting.

Just looking for some advice on the best way to prepare the head. I've heard a few ways such as, boiling, bleaching, or leaving outside for maggots to get to.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Red, I have two, not sure if I'll mount both. I'd like to mount on a shield, not sure of the difference to cutting or mounting...sorry!?

    Alasdair,

See Overview - Preparing a Head/Trophy by CSI (Alex), I know it's not a red but the principles the same.
