    anshultz 1517 trigger upgrade/replacment

I have recently acquired a 1517 hmr made by anshultz.

does anyone know of an excellent replacement trigger for this rifle or trigger upgrade for the current trigger?

Not heard of any aftermarket triggers for the 1517, unless you upgrade to the factory two stage one.
To be fair it has a pretty good trigger anyway (maybe the best rimfire trigger), all I have ever done is adjust it to suit.

Give the original trigger a thorough clean out & it should be as good as any aftermarket jobbie.
Anschutz coming from the top end target rifle world always made good triggers.
If it ain't bust - don't mend it - clean it!

That's a new one on me. I've never heard of anyone replacing the trigger on an Anschutz or for that matter wanting to change one.
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

The Anschutz stock trigger is as good as they come, unless its defective or been "adjusted" by someone who should have no access to tools it should be crisp, light and safe….

what your all saying is that you don't know of any after market triggers out there then.

that's ok and that has answered my question.

There are, as far as I am aware no aftermarket triggers available for the Anchutz rifle range.

There are optional triggers available from Anschutz. I have just ordered a 1416 d hb Thumbhole in .22lr. I have specced an optional match trigger over the standard. Details will be available for your model via the Anschutz website.

The standard trigger is two stage, not sure if any of the target triggers will fit
