155gr A-max with N140

Assuming a .308 Win, it will be about the same as Varget, 41.5 to 42.5 grains of N-140 usually the accuracy load, but you may find another sweet spot between 44.0 and 45.0. Just watch the MV and pressure signs when you pass 45.0 grains of Varget, 4895, RL-15, N-140, or N-150. The 155-gr has less bearing surface than most 150-gr bullets, but every chamber barrel and brass volume is different.

44.5 g N140, lapua brass, fed 210 primers, OAL 2.812 gives me sub half inch 5 shot groups. Closee to max so build up carefully.

thanks for the info everyone will load some up this weekend, had a box and tub of each given to me so will try them out see if they match the sierra 155's

.308
cci primers, 44g N140 set 10thou off the lands produces single holes for me having played for months with fractions of a grain.
