After shooting this weekend in Oxford with a few guys off here, can anyone recommend me a pair of gloves that are both warm and wet. I like man am most likely sick to their back teeth of purchasing gloves advertised as fitting the bill. The gloves I had work over the weekend were sealskins and they to were sodden after a few hours of constant heavy rain in the high seat, that surprised me I have to say. I am now erring towards a skiing type gloves as I saw some in a ski shop, by no means cheap but if I had been offered them on Sunday at 7 am in the poring rain I would have ripped your arm off ! ))
On the bright side I have at last found a decent set of trousers and jacket, Ridgeline Monsoon, the latest version, which is 100 % waterproof for sure and I did not boil in the bag as some folk did with the old version. Note though I made sure I had decent wicking clothing base layers.
Cheers in advance. ))
