    Handy wee cree

I got one of these from b & q today just on impulse...

Active AP Pro Series Cree LED AAA Torch 90lm 4.5V | Departments | DIY at BQ

It's a great wee backup to my petzl headtorch which is great but a bit bulky and has been forgotten in the past.
Unusually,it seems to be the same price on line from other sources,or dearer.

ps... it came With Duracell batteries, separately, all in a sealed pack so I think the web blurb is wrong there.

There are even batteries in the photo on the web site. What range do you get from it. I seem to have a growing collection of cree torches, always impressive...

Not had it going on a real dark night,it went straight into the stalking kit bag.
The flood setting is really useful and guessing but the spot setting would be good for 60 yards.
    Not bad for 3aaa batteries.
