    Name these tracks!

    Went by my new permission, deer are present! Didn't see bugger all but saw tracks.
    I reckon muntjac or roe but leaning towards muntjac.

    Tracks are about 1.5-2" long.

    So it seems I may have fallow....or roe....or both!

    All look like Fallow to me. Although I have some areas shared by Fallow and Roe, if there is a fairly good population of Fallow, you don't normally have Roe as well.
    Don't get too excited just yet though as they may be nocturnally transient. If you don't have a decent sized wood with plenty of low cover on your bit, you may well never see them during the hours of legal shooting time. A stealth cam will help you to establish what, where and when. Looks promising though.
