Didn't feel it here in the Western Highlands...the house was shaking too much from the wind!!

I'm with Drew, just a West Highland wind, anything else and I slept through it.

Hi Pete,
It woke me here in the West Mids! It reminded me of the unhappy times in Belfast, when I was serving out there. :( As for the birds making a noise before the rumble. The same thing happened to me when we had that solar eclipse about eight years ago. A flock of starlings were acting very odd just before the eclipse. As it went dark they all stopped squarking at once. Very odd, just like the Alfred Hitchcock film 'The Birds'.

Yes it certainly did move for me. I was just settling in bed and all of a sudden, rumble, the house shook and a voice from the wife asking what the bloodyhell was that at the same time as picking herself up from the floor after falling of the toilet.

It woke my daughter, so i went in and comforted her and settled back down.

Asked my mate today if he had felt the tremor, "yes" he said,"i fell out of bed",
So, that must have been the cause of the second quake then you fat f***** i sad.

Down here in sunny Kent I did not feel a thing, although when I first heard reports of a earthquake up north I thought it might have been JAYB's wallet dropped out of his pocket ;)

There would not be enough of a shock wave in the to cause a Tsunami in a goldfish bowl :D

I won't look for a buck until May, even then it's a bit early for me. I don't have access to many so I have to be a bit more selective than usual. I took a yearling last May, who was a bloody nuisance causing damage, and you would have got more meat off of a mouse, and he was a good 'un.
