    Privi Partisan 243 SP, 100gr

I have a stalk planned this Friday but am out of ammo for my Remi 243 (I use factory ammo).
I can use the estate rifle but would prefer to use mine + I am a leftie.
I have booked a 100 range at Bisley for this week and they have 243 ammo, Privi Partisan, 100g (65 per 100) in store. 2 questions:
    1) My rifle is a 1 in 9.5" twist and the recommended grain is between 70-90g. Would 100g make a big differance to performance, using a 1 in 9.5" twist?
    2) Privi Partisan is not a brand I've heard before. Obviously cheap but are they any good?

    thanks

they'll do just fine for UK game, low cost stuff but ok. personally don't rate them and wouldn't buy them unless I had to in an emergency, but rather use Privi than borrow a gun any day!

the 100g is likely to stabilise fine in your 9.5 twist, but,,,,,you will never know until you put them through paper.

Don't know how the twist rate would affect it, but do know that a mate of mine has a Tikka T3 hunter and it shoots anything 80-90 grain but can't seem to stabilise the 100 grain rounds, accuracy goes way off.
Re Privi ammunition I've used it 100 grain in .243 & 150 grain in .308. Yes it works but isn't consistent, I've also found the bolt tight to close on some rounds.
That said I have 20 of each in the cabinet for emergency use - it's cheap

Just in case, would anyone know where I could pick up decent 243 ,80-90g before Friday? I am London based though . 243 seems ridiculously elusive to get hold of

Try William Evans on St James, holland and holland on Bruton street or west London shooting ground

I did buy Privi ammunition for a .243 Blaser R93 that I owned and it was dreadful ammunition. Very unpredictable when shooting at targets and not suitable for shooting live quarry.
You might like to try a few, but I don't think that you should buy many to try them.

I have used privi in my 308, and as you say the bolt is very hard to close.

My tikka3 shoots perfect with 100grain power shock

Some years ago when I happened to be in London and wanted various .308 factory loads to try, I was surpised to find that the Beretta Gallery had a few different kinds on hand.
