Just come East Coast Mainline from London to Edinburgh - plenty of snow on the Pennines and lammermuirs and slush in Edinburgh.

I would say there will be some. Just travelled back on west coast main line past Moffat and Beattock and it's pretty white on the tops, although not so white near Lockerbie. Eskdalemuir seems to have its own climate so it's hard to say which way it will go but I would put a wager on there being some. I will know better at the weekend when I go up myself.....edit, snow on roads at Langholm at 6pm tonight, more than likely worse further up the valleys.

Was speaking to a mate in tesco afore, he's meant to be working in eskdalemuir the morro and his boss said as much as 1 ft in places in the wood, there talking about taking there grader up to get all the boys into the wood to there machines, most of them drive wee vans as so cheap to run.

    Thanks Gents.

May well be an interesting trip up then. Hopefully some Snow and Wind will have flattened the Willow Herb a bit.

I reckon you must have had it pretty bad with snow this weekend? A fellow syndicate member was up past Eskdalemuir last night and today and there was at least ten inches in the woods. Saw the photos
