in cinemas now: KAJAKI (Brit soldiers in Afghanistan)

My sister's mate was involved in making this film about a group of Brit soldiers. I haven't seen it but hope to.

UK small film-maker type thing, might appeal to you lot (might wind you up with inaccuracies...?)

Based on a true story about soldiers of the 3rd Battalion (mostly) in Afghanistan.

If you've seen it, let me know what it's like.

Supports various charities incl. H4H and Walking Wounded.

    Looking forward to seeing it.
I think that chap that stepped on the IED was from the West Country.
He was on the local news program with the actor that portrayed him in the film.
"He who kills sow with piglets empties the forest of boar" My neighbours dad on new years eve 2011.

One of my old best boxing sparring mates and an ex reservist took his dad an ex para to see it and they both enjoyed it. Lots of respect to them all and my cousins boy whom served as a sniper and to all the families etc of lost friends including my young cousins best mate whom was killed with an ied.

Realistic war film for a change, unlike the American war with added cheese and bull **** films.
