Hello, got the woodland stalker in 308 and delighted with it. Only shoot factory ammo either sako 123 or fed v shok 150 B tips. Mainly used on sika and some roe. Based on my limited understanding the shorter barrel losses you velocity but the bullet penetration is better. Moved to the RPA from a T3 varmint in 243 due to the sika shooting. Great results and shoots exceptionally well. A bit heavy to carry around but nice and compact, I would highly recommend. The guys at RPA look after you and buy British!
