Replacement zip for a shotgun slip

Can anyone recommend an individual or business who could replace a full length zip in a shotgun slip? I have made a couple of inquiries online and am waiting on replies, but a recommendation would be preferred if possible.

Try Lancashire Sports Repair. Many of the top brands in mountaineering and outdoor kit use them as an official warranty repairer, the work is usually good, although they may not be used to gun slips.

Don't know if it makes a difference if it is leather or not but I would just take it to any tailoring shop. Got a zip replaced on my fleece for a few quid. Shouldn't think it would be much more. Same process at the end of the day.

Dom, there used to be a lady who worked from a shed in the car park at Touchwoods Camping at Redbridge before it became Go Outdoors. She repaired all manner of camping gear etc, not sure if she's still there though.

Or there's the two women in Halesowen that make gun bags for a lot of the "better" suppliers.

There's a lady local to us who can and has repaired most of my shooting bits & bobs, from zips to rips to patches and is fantastic.
    If you've got a new zip,she charges anything from 4 -10.
you're more than welcome to send me the zip and Ill get it to her.

That's cheap ! We charge about 25 / 30 per zip in something like an Argo hood, we do supply the zip though.
