    Stuart Mitchell Knives

Stuart has been working on these for 18 months. Today he finished them in his workshop. He is a great guy and always guides you in the right direction. So a bit of free PR for him, not that he needs it.

Beautiful, but at probably the best part of half a G for the pair, I'd be scared of using them!

However, if someone was to give me one - it'd be a different story!

Lovely knives - those tapered tangs make for very elegant blades.

He is a really good at what he does and its good to support a British craftsman. His labour rates were good as well considering he is at the top of his profession - less than the cost of the Damasteel which rose 250% in 6 months.

Wood is Desert Ironwood from Arizona via Ebay.

Stainless Steel is Damasteel Bjorkmann twist from Sweden.

You wouldn't want one...got my name engraved on the other side.

I am scared of using them as well but hopefully not for long. Also concerned about somebody else in my house using them as a chisel, screwdriver, prise, etc.

His knives are not made to be drawer queens. Use them and enjoy them.

Can't help on the transgressions by other members of your household though

Fantastic craftsmanship but at the risk of starting a riot I find them ugly as hell!

Something about the 'awkward' profile albeit I'm sure they sit in the hand and perform the task delightfully.

    Each to his own.

The guy is a true craftsman. i would love to spend a day with him and learn from him. One day I will make something as good.
