    Very interesting. But no surprises that Zeiss is up there for optical quality. Pity the z6'wasnt included in this test.

    i don't think Zeiss have anything to fear from a test such as this as their whole brand image is built on offering the best optical quality, which is what they do. There may be others who have a very strong brand but maybe not such strong optics who might be unwilling to submit scopes for a double blind test like this. It was interesting that the older S&B did so well while the new model didn't come close for example. I hope this was a one off and that they are not going down the route of marketing over optical quality.
