    A runner/shock horror!!!!!!!!!!

At risk of offending those that are purists or dont have the minerals I have to say that "Any half decent rifle shot downunder would roll him cold as a maggot!"

The dreaded blackberry bushes are the obvious safe harbour of course...1st pic is actually the last but I cant edit it out hence the two copies.

    Nah,shot with the camera only..too small/young a stag.
My Irish mate might have a chance to roll him later this year as he would have grown a new head by then, he is no monster but its ok for a starter to get the monkey off.

What would the weight of him be now, and what would you expect him to be later in the year?

Ah that I dont know..anything `tween 450-550 lbs.....he is pretty solid after the Spring flush feed on offer and has obviously been packing on the lbs after the rutting period.
The 3rd pic shows he has plenty up forward and he has a good filled out arse end on him as well.. the same pic is where he would have got one behind the left shoulder if so desired.. a perfect opp!

The one has to think about getting the bar steward out! 2 k`s to the vehicle makes ya think again as well.

He looks like a big lad as it is, Crikey I'd break into a sweat just thinking about extracting him, still have him though as I have to eat..

yes rick they are a pain and as Im over the age limit of just lumping them out like the old days they are usually taken with helpers or at least where one can get a vehicle in as close as possible.
