Season extension on Sika Hinds and Roe Does

To avoid an argument (!) I was told today that the season on the above has been extended and there is now no closed season? I'm down in the south is this true?
    Cheers.

Yes Roe Does extended, making it the same as Scotland where it has always been March 31st, at one time Bucks did not start in Scotland till May 1st but has been April 1st for many years.

Why would you want to shoot heavily pregnant deer?
    (calves and followers accepted)
Not saying you do or would. My point is legal or not for me it is just not right. I would rather shoot hind and calf or doe and kid in October than April.

Unfortunately my Roe doe cull must be done in February and March, due to game shooting, a lot of estates wont allow you to cull Does till after the shooting season finishes.
