    Is this not what we should all strive for.
    She was dead before she hit the ground.
    It was with 243 80grain hollow point at 140 yds from high seat. exit wound shown in picture.

    Couldn't have placed that shot any better Nothing wasted on that beast............although I could argue that you've messed up any chance of making haggis

    AYE but damn fine liver and kidney later.........my friend up your way always argued that red made better haggis anyway

    Well placed shot. Would be nice if they all dropped on the spot but the fact is most heart/lung shots all run on " dead " 20 or so meters.

    Agreed maybe that is what made me so pleased.
    I thought it would show less experienced people it.
    It was completely relaxed had no idea what was coming. I find they do tend to run more when they are slightly on edge.
    I do not claim to be the best shot etc but this was very satisfying even though I shoot a good number of deer.
