I made this from a plastic barrel using an electric paint stripper
It glides very easily and does not wear very fast, I made it for fallow.
Feel free to copy or improve, but please add photos of your improvements for us all to benefit from
My idea is limited due to it being unfoldable, but I have hidden a couple about the place and cant see anyone wanting to steal them
If they do its not such a loss, it only took a couple of hours to knock up
Regards

If you notice the slots are folded over and have a hole through them
i have rope through them which is used to fasten the deer onto the sled

Great idea, I like that a lot and I know someone with a suitable barrel.... Mmmm

Jigsaw to cut the barrel (cut ends of first, then longditudinally)
Hot air paint stripper to soften and bend it (I bent it over some wood
If you had access to some steam, it would be easyer still
I softened it every 300mm, I did it outside but it would have been more efficient to have done it in the garage
If you had access to some steam, it would be easyer still
I managed alone but another pair of hands would be helpfull
I found putting a metal plate over a suitable barbeque, generates a nice even heat
Wait until the charcoal has stopped burning and only at the ash stage
