    Bear in your high seat

Just seen this on another thread, where a man has a bear to come visit him when he is sitting upon his high seat; hope it has not ben posted before but thought I would share. Makes you wonder how you would react.

That's pretty cool. I am not sure if I would ever want to shoot a bear, and that one looked just like an inquisitive youngster.

If you go out in the woods today,
You're sure of a big surprise.
If you go out in the woods today,
    You'd better go in disguise.

For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain, because
Today's the day the Teddy bears have their picnic.

“Man surprised me most about humanity. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”........Dalai Lama

Yes that bear was very close. It got up that tree and in his face very quickly.

Hopefully the chance of this happening in Surrey are slim.....

I wonder how many seconds it would take to go from "he's just an inquisitive youngster" to "stop eating my leg"!!!

I didn't realise bears could climb that quickly! Sure I've read before that they can run at 60km/h as well.
