    Numbers of guns held

    How many can you hold,both rifles and shotguns before you need a monitored alarm system,

    I don't know if there is an actual number. If there is, I'm not aware of what it is. I imagine there are other things that might have a bearing on it, as well as how many guns and rifles you have. Where you live, the construction of your house, it's general external security, do you often go away and leave it empty, the type of firearms you have, amount of ammunition held and possibly other factors that don't immediately come to mind.

    I have comfortably more than 12 and no alarm. If you count moderators and barrels as items then I have more than twice that number......

    Section 161 of the Highways Act 1980 (England & Wales) makes it an offence to discharge a firearm within 50 ft of the centre of a highway with vehicular rights without lawful authority or excuse, if as a result a user of the highway is injured, interrupted or endangered.
