Transporting fallow or red hinds in car

Anybody have any recommendations for waterproof bags or trays to transport a deer carcass in a car. Would appreciate any input to solve the problem.

I once managed with assistance of the owner of the vehicle to squeeze three hinds into the rear of a Vitara...

It was "cozy" when we got in too..

Wrap in a sheet, then in an old quilted cotton mattress-protector (absorbent) then in a tarpaulin (stops leakage, discourages keds). Skoda Octavia estate. Once unleaded, put all in washing-machine, except estate car and carcasses.

Oh, and make sure the hinds are dead before setting off.

See.... I knew you guys would have the knowledge!
Wondered if any of you knew of a body bag type widget.... I imagine there would not be enough room for a deer tray

The sheet, mattress protector and tarp sounds like a good idea.
Dalua, I imagine that is what a HD pistol is for.... just in case the deer wakes up when you are driving home from the hill!
