X bolt trigger

Has anyone had a conversion done on there Stainless X bolt trigger unit for the new feather light one?
I have been told the original trigger isn't easy to work on.
Loverly rifle but excessive weight on the trigger for my liking.

If the X bolt trigger is the same as the A bolt trigger then they are not hard to work on to achieve a decent trigger pull. I have tried the new featherlight trigger and it was pretty good out of the box. The Browning reps did say that the featherlight was designed not to be user adjustable.

X-bolt trigger is not the same as an A-bolt.
That said I found it straight forward to work on, remove and strip down, cut spring down and put it all back together.
Cutting spring about ½ a coil at a time I had to do it a couple of times, but ended up with a very nice trigger that broke at 1 ¾ lb.

Neil. :)

The original trigger is dead easy to work on, it just has a red protective seal that you remove and you can then make the adjustment, i did on my 30-06 and i am more than happy with the trigger now.
Cheers
Richard
