100gr ttsx creedmoor

After reading a few people's opinions on the above bullet, I had a quick look at barmes vortex range and found that their 100gr bullet is only giving about 1700flb at muzzle, which means it doesn't meet the legal requirements. Its also going fairly slow (i though).
Now, I dont reload, and some of my leases dont allow home loads anyway, so does that mean I cant get a 100gr ttsx in cm that meets legal energy?

In my 260 Rem I am achieving just under 3100 fps with a Barnes 100gr TTSX bullet. I'm sure I'd achieve a very similar velocity in my 6.5 Creedmoor.

@homer I think that you should find another source for your velocity/energy information.

The link you gave is to the Barnes ‘VOR-TX Reduced Recoil’ line of cartridges & the cartridge description mentions it’s a “reduced recoil load” - hence the low velocity. It goes on to say the VOR-TX RR (reduced recoil) range is ideal for ‘young hunters’.

There’s other versions of the ‘VOR-TX’ family which have normal ballistics & are slanted towards specific uses (e.g. VOR-TX Safari etc).
