I have always used DM80 mods on my 17 HMR ( HW and CZ) but Dave is not making any currently too busy !

Can real users tell me about the Swift Nightingale, Wildcat Panther, Calibre specific ones that they use ?

or any others that they recommend please ?.

I am not a mod stripper - I like the sealed ones like SL5i on my CF.

Got a Swift Nightingale mod on my HMR - superbly made bit of kit.

Heard the company folded a few years ago and that someone was looking to buy the patent to start up again, but not heard anything since. Are they now available?

Got a Wildcat specific (purple end) for my .22LR that works well, but different league in terms of quality/aesthetics to the nightingale.

Wildcat Panther on mine. Can't compare it to any others as this is my 1st 17hmr. Certainly seems to help and fairly easy to clean the little cartridges crud out (I do maintain my mods)
Shot rabbits and others sit around nonplussed so must be ok

I'll echo Greenman on all of his points. Wildcat Panther on my T1x works very well. Rabbits seem unbothered as their compatriots drop around them.

I don't know if they still make them but I've had a Wildcat Whisper on my HMR for years now. I does the job well

i have a wildcat panther on mine. None of them will silence the crack, but I find the panther dulls it. The main benefit is it’s easy to pull apart and clean too.

Not sure if you can get them in the UK but DPT make (maybe made) a .17 cal centerfire suppressor that I have on my short barreled T1x and it is outstanding due to the larger expansion chambers over the rimfire version.
