As Lipsey's are taking control of the No1's from Ruger calibre selection is looking slightly more interesting!

#1A 7mm-08
#1S 30-06
#1B 257 Wby mag
#1H 357 H&H
#1KV .223
#1RSI 6.5x55.

Im thinking the 6.5x55 brass I've got in the classified is going to stay in the man cave!!

I feel that no1's should be classic and rare calibres. The last ones made nitro express affordable to the masses.

It'd be nice if they did it again. Couple of wildcats maybe

I guess we could all come up with a quirky calibre we'd like to see in a No1 but not sure how many 25-20's they'd sell in a relatively unpopular rifle...... how about a re-barrel!?
I did see a 22-250 on gun trader for £150 that I was toying with getting

I love my No1's Lipsey's are a top company & make some lovely exclusive models ..Hummmmm wil Viking Arms still import them into the UK ?

My Dealer friend in Montana who has an account with Lipsey's just sent me this..

From Jason of Lipsey's

Waiting for final spec on the RSI but either way you guys will be happy.

We are talking to Ruger regarding International sales this week ..

Agreed. Where is the .303 Enfield, the 7x65R, the .444 Marlin, all with sights?
They did do a handful of .303s a few years ago, all to Canada, and a 9.3x74R.

I can see Lipsey's running a few exclusive Walnut / Stainless models out.. Hopefully a 35 Whelen ! I fancy the idea of the K1V 223 -1/8 twist 26" barrel .

YES!!! A no. 1-A (Light Sporter) in .303 British stoked with 215 gr Woodleighs would be a sweet little number.

I missed one on Canadian gun nuts two weeks ago . It went for $900 , it didn't last for an hour . Prophet River in Lloyd will have a few on consignment in the next few weeks , hopefully I'll still be in the country and grab one . I've got about 150 Norma 215 gr RN's that need a good home .

I have been watching a 9.3 X 62 in Tucson for a couple of months now. It is currently priced at $1,250 but I doubt it will sell. Perhaps in 6-months I will make an unreasionable offer for it. Once bought a 416 Rigby No. 1 after watching it for over two years. As I recall I paid $450 for it....
