2024 squirrels, post them here.

17 so far this year all with the 12g. Hopefully more by the year is out as the trees thin out of leaf and the greys get more mobile looking for food.

This trio from June was from one drey, it was high winds that day so they were hunkering down. I skin off the tails for flying tying material, makes them more like the (tree) rats they are.

An autumn brace with my trusty well warn Webley .410 de luxe and home load specials. Have a regular stream of the little critters coming into my garden from surrounding orchards. Anybody else use the old Webley B/A? This one cost me £40 from Holts together with another scrapper and dates from about 1960.

I use to have one. Very capable little shotguns👍🏻.
 
Nice! Dont let any of these go to waste, they are actually really good eating! Fried, or low and slow in a croc pot and get the meat shredded off. Really good.
