I’m after the Speer 46gn flat point 218 bee 224s if you have any. Many moons ago I had a 218 Mashburn Bee, basically an “Improved” 218 Bee & used to use .224” bullets but do still have some .223” around, let me know what bullets you are specifically looking for & I may be able to help or are you wanted loaded rounds?

The hornadys seem to be available. Wanted to compare them. Generally looking for short snubby bullets to stabilise at low MV. I’m about to try the 50gn PPU Soff Point but not sure if they’ll stabilise.

Thanks for coming back to me. I was after the ones with the really flat nose like this:I have the following
58no - Speer 223” Spitzer 45g
101no - Hornady 45g Hornet.
Let me know if they are of interest to you. View attachment 471356

Trying to get them to stabilise at subsonic in a 1:14”.
Can’t find any info on them at all. Definitely interested if they’re short for calibre. Do you have any other details?Good evening,i have a box of rws hp 46gr sat on the shelf and i may have other light weight 224 cal and i can look on friday when i am back .
Are you after .223 or .224 bullets?Just seeing if anyone has any they want to move on. They’re around but thought someone might have a box languishing.
I want to work up a subsonic K Hornet load.
224. I know the title says 218Bee but it’s for a 1:14 K Hornet. They’re for subsonic loads and I want to try and stabilise the heaviest bullet I can. The short flat nose bee bullets seemed a good bet but I’ve been looking at any short bullets really. Are you after .223 or .224 bullets?
Good luck, I tried in a standard hornet with jacketed bullets with no joy, various bullets going sideways. There’s also the issue of jackets bullets lodging in the barrel.224. Concerningly, the whole process is placing me at risk of contracting the “casters plague” in order to start making my own..
What weight and bullet length did you try? Was yours a 1:16? I have a Ruger 77Mk2 1:14.Good luck, I tried in a standard hornet with jacketed bullets with no joy, various bullets going sideways. There’s also the issue of jackets bullets lodging in the barrel.
Cast bullets may work but the twist will likely catch you out.
It was a 1:16 but from memory people shooting subsonic were running 50 gr bullets and fast twists. What weight and bullet length did you try? Was yours a 1:16? I have a Ruger 77Mk2 1:14.
I’m working with Titegroup, N320 and Winchester WST just because those are the powders I have.
