What powders are you finding best in short tube currently using rl15 and have bought some rs 52 to try when I run outBe very very very careful about buying second hand vermin calibre rifles….
I just wouldn’t.
I love my 22-250 1-8 twist.
it started with a 26 inch pipe , it’s now 22 and can achieve just about the same velocities with the right powder

I shall give it ago then I’m finding rs powder really consistent in 3006 and 243RS52
Tremendous for me
I tried RS60 also fantastic , but a known barrel burner , so I left it alone and went with RS52I shall give it ago then I’m finding rs powder really consistent in 3006 and 243
I’ve got a fair bit of 60 I use in 06 and 243 but didn’t like how much I needed in the 250 case and with price of powder the longer the tubs last the betterI tried RS60 also fantastic , but a known barrel burner , so I left it alone and went with RS52
Very accurate, great speed and not a barrel muncher
Absolutely, if it an all-rounder you require .22-250 all day, or perhaps the venerable .220 swift, but ammo for the 250 will be much easier to find if you don't intend to reload. And the 22250 is small deer legal too.
