.22lr ammo

The only ammo I use in a rimmy is subsonic. The only way to know what is the best ammo for you is to do as above .. Buy a selection of ammo and see which works most consistently in your rifle. If it's accurate and consistent and you can find it to buy locally then you've found which ammo to use :)

Bunnies don't need 'hard hitting' anything if you shoot them properly (in the noggin) as many a sub-12ft/lbs air rifle shooter will confirm. I cannot think of any .22 rimfire ammo (even shorts etc) that will not be delivering far in excess of 12ft/lbs at any range you can even see a bunny let alone place the shot on it.

HV do give significantly more thump than subbies. Stick to the stand HV from Lapua, RWS or Eley. I have never had good results from CCI Minimags.
likewise with mini mags , it could be that some guns suit them others do OR The user is at fault more than the ammo if you shoot 2-3" at 50 yards ? You likely would not notice .
To put this in context I have known some very good Top end international .22 rf shooters 50 yards they expect one roughly bullet size hole - with std peep sights . also they travel to other countries to test ammo batches , then buy many thousands in that same batch number. Not brand but the serial number of the different batches
