.270 Ammunition for Tikka

Thats interesting, do you know how he found it compared to the Sako 270?
Ive heard the Barnes bullets are meant to be one of the best loadings non-toxic or otherwise, but weirdly enough my RFDs cant seem to get a hold of it, only the Winchester stuff at the moment.
Admittingly, Id still like to try some of the lead loadings available first, but am well aware that I will be needing to move to copper sooner rather than later.

I use Sako blade now, a lot less damage than the Winchester ammunition and more accurate out of my ‘85

I dont think he’s used them enough to have a comparison yet.

I’ve noticed the barnes bullets as a reloading option are hideously expensive. They work out about £1.60 each in 7mm

£1.20 to £1.30 a bullet here, on par with .243, .308 and .270 which I reload.
